Mid-Week Mayhem

6/30/2010 3:33 PM

The heading really doesn't describe what the show was. It's just an attention getter. Hey, it got you here just play along.

First off the bat was Steve 'Wildman' Wilson and his guests. Trevor, Rachel, and Sherman. Oh yea,and Ruby the British Lab. Listen to their story.

Lindy came by and filled us in on the coming week at The Buzz. You can get all of the goings on before your neighbor simply by signing up for Lindy's Weekly Buzz. The heat is on for the big Shagadelic Skating Shindig benefiting the American Diabetes Association, July 10th at 7pm – 10pm at the Arkansas Skatium on Bowman in Little Rock. Costume Contest, cash prizes and so much more. Come join us and relive some of your youth.

One of the 12 Most Powerful and Influential People in Arkansas invited Steve 'Elvis Guy' Zimmerman and his guitar teacher Phillip 'Jocko' Deal into the studio to do some jamming. They're both awesome. Hear for yourself.

What? Who am I referring to? Sorry 'bout that. David Bazzel is who. AY Magazines latest issue has our very own and very deserving David Bazzel listed. We joked that they kind shrunk David in the photo but the one thing AY Magazine got right was his selection. I've known David for several years. It's only been the past 4-1/2 months that I've had the pleasure of working for and with him. I admit that I am biased but trust me please when I say he is a tireless advocate for the state of Arkansas and all that is in it. I am very proud to call him friend. I now will start dropping his name at restaurants or parking garages on a regular basis. Congratulations David Bazell and thank you for all you do.

I did a little singing with Jocko as well. Good time. Good radio....OK that may be a stretch.

Fun time with everyone in studio and on the phone. It would all be more difficult for me if it were not for the super effort of Super Producer Danny-Joe Crofford. Thanks to DJC you are able to hear all the sound bites I blog about.

Tomorrow on the show Max Brantley, Phillip Martin, and Tim Jackson. Last day in the studio this week. We are in Hot Springs Friday morning at Oaklawn Park.

Trivia for a pair of Skating party tix... (Q)Why is our flag folded in a triangle? (A)To reflect the shape of the Tricorn hats worn by our Revolutionary War Soldiers

Thanks for listening and making The Buzz 103.7 your #1 station. Join The Show With No Name from 6a-10a Mon-Fri with Tommy Smith, David Bazzel, Danny-Joe Crofford and myself.

Hi! I understand this is kind of off-topic however I had to ask. Does operating a well-established blog such as yours require a lot of work? I'm brand new to blogging but I do write in my journal everyday. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!

Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
