Holy Cow did we do some eating today. Lets see....Strawman and Sara brought up strawberry pie and a can of whip cream for dessert. That was for after we polished off a huge container of Sheridan's own Henrys' Kitchen ham. Son! It was finger licking good. Mac from Arkansas car Stereo brought some cookies. Now I didn't have any of those. Not because David Bazzel would take a bite out of the ones that looked good and put back what didn't taste good. No, it was just 'cause I forgot. How can you blame me for forgetting? I was busy chowing down on my well done steak from The Butcher Shop. That's what I said well done! Al came up and cooked 50, give or take a couple, of the best steaks money didn't have to buy. Well he bought them, cooked them, and we ate them. What a guy. And Al, unlike Justin Acri, didn't make fun of the way I like mine cooked. At least not to my face. Shoot he could if he wanted to. I still gobbled it up.
'Wildman ' Steve Wilson made his Wednesday morning visit and brought a guest with some items for the outdoor lover on your Christmas list.
Our old buddy and plant guru Brett Battle sat in early with us. he presented Chrissy and David of Youth Home with a check. This money was raised through an offer that Brett made to anyone wanting landscaping done between October and December. It was a win-win situation. The folks got an A-1 yard job and the gang at youth home will have a great Christmas and money for much needed tools to continue counseling the kids.
