SEC Football Media Days Part 2

Hoover, Alabama - Fans were in line in the lobby of the Wynfrey hotel in Hoover, Alabama, well before my alarm clock decided to sound. They were all here to see Alabama Head coach Nick Saban. He arrived shortly before 8:00am and started hitting the talk shows on Radio Row. He was flanked by a member of the University of Alabama Sports Information Department, two members of the Southeastern Conference office, and two security guards in suits. Those wanting autographs waited patiently, at times, for Saban to make his way from room to room speaking with members of the media. One reporter covering SEC Football Media Days couldn't get to the second floor where the interview rooms are located because of the crowd in the lobby and kind of pushed his way through the throngs of autograph seeking fans. When you throw in Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt, Florida Boss Urban Meyer, and Mississippi's Houston Nutt, you have a crowd.
Coach after coach was asked who they voted for in the pre season SEC All-Conference poll. Jevan Snead took a vote from Tim Tebow from one coach as the top Quarterback in the league, the problem is that coach has not fessed up to voting for Snead instead of Tebow. Lane Kiffin has already stated that he voted for Tebow. There are three coaches left to have the question tossed their way, Gene Chizik of Auburn, Les Miles of LSU, and Steve Spurrier of South Carolina. We might have an answer tomorrow.
