PINNACLE IS READY FOR THE LADIES

Rogers, Arkansas - I had the chance to play Pinnacle Country Club yesterday for the very first time. The course was renovated after last years P&G Beauty LPGA golf tournament. They switched their fairway grass to a better Zoysia to tolerate the heat, and Tyee Bentgrass greens to do the same. The greens were smooth and were rolling great.
I would like to thank Jay Fox, the Executive Director of the Arkansas State Golf Association, and Mac Stubbs of the ASGA for inviting me.
If you have the chance to get to Northwest Arkansas druing the thournament which runs from September 11-13, you owe it to yourself. All of the USA's Solheim Cup players except for Julie Inkster have committed to play. Stacy Lewis who won the NCAA Championship while at the University of Arkansas and won the 18 hole event in 2007 is also in the field.
Pinnacle is a great course with beauty all around it. The second week in September beauty will be on display as the women of the LPGA play in the P&G Beauty of Northwest Arkansas at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers.
