Ryan Mallett Is On His Game

Fayetteville - If the past two Arkansas Razorback football games are any indication of the type of Quarterback Ryan Mallett can be, he will not play his senior year in the Cardinal and Red for the Razorbacks. He will be playing his senior year in the National Football League.
He has had some dominant games but none more so than this past weekend against South Carolina. He had no touchdown throws but was not intercepted and connected with nine different receivers. Leading the way was Junior Tight End, D. J. Williams who had seven catches for 137 yards.
Ryan Mallett finished the day 23 of 27 for 329 yards and 0 interceptions. It is numbers like these that will put Ryan Mallett at the top of the Heisman watch list starting next year. I am still a little confused how he is not on the O'Brien Watch List that was cut to 15 a couple of weeks ago. If there are 15 Quarterbacks in the country better than Mallett, I would like to see who they are.
Arkansas will look to send Troy back to Southern Alabama with a loss and become Bowl Eligible this Saturday on the Hill. Mississippi State will be an early kick at 11:21 at War Memorial Stadium on the 21st, and the Razorbacks finish the 2009 regular season in Death Valley against LSU a week later.
