Razorback Baseball focused on NCAA Tournament

Hoover, Alabama - It was a short stay for the Arkansas Razorbacks this year at the SEC Baseball Tournament. A first round loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores and then a loss to Florida sent the Hogs back to Fayetteville.
It might not be all that bad for the Razorbacks since they were missing their best two hitters in Zack Cox and Brett Eibner. Cox has a sore back and rest is the only way it can get better. Eibner was hit by a pitch on his right wrist against Ole Miss and had problems getting a good grip on the bat handle.
Arkansas will host a regional next week in Fayetteville. If they get the right seed and draw, there is the possibility that they could get back to Omaha for the College World Series. The only way they can get to Omaha is by winning and they need all of their players healthy.
Dave Van Horn was pleased with the fight his Razorbacks showed at the end of the game with Florida. If you get a chance to get to Fayetteville next weekend, you need to. This could be the last time you see Cox, Eibner, Drew Smyly, and Andy Wilkins in a Razorback uniform.
