Oxford, Mississippi - The Arkansas Razorbacks needed a W.  Ole Miss did as well, and the Rebels used hustle and grit to defeat the Razorbacks in Oxford for the 13th time in the past 14 years.

Arkansas had fan support throughout the crowd that was announced at 6,609.  That figure was definately inflated.  It was probably tickets sold.  The Hog fans probably made up 25 percent of the actual fans in attendance.  They tried to will their team to a victory but the way the Hogs started in the first half they could not get over the hill.

Arkansas got as close as 6 in the second half but never could establish their type of game.  Courtney Fortson and Jason Henry took over the game in the second half.  Fortson had 24 points and Henry 19 in the game.  The Ole Miss defense shut down Michael Washington and Roteni Clarke.  Washington was held to seven total points and Rotnei took 2 shots and missed both of them and finished with zero points on the night.

It doesn't get any easier for the Hogs as they travel to Gainesville and the University of Florida to take on the Gators Saturday.
