Fayetteville - The Arkansas Razorbacks had the light come on Thursday night in Fayetteville while most of Northwest Arkansas was in the dark.  The ice storm that hit Arkansas this week didn't keep over 14,000 Hog fans from watching the Hogs down the Tide 89 to 80.

Arkansas was led by Freshman guard Roteni Clarke, who missed his first two three point attempts, but finished 6 of 10 from behind the arc and had a game high 26 points.

Passing also returned for the Razorbacks who had 18 assist in the game.  Give credit to Courtney Fortson who took only 4 shots.  Although he didn't make any, he was 8 of 10 from the free throw stripe to finish with 8 points, 9 assist, 3 turn overs, 1 blocked shot, and 3 steals.

Arkansas now has a win and confidence in the SEC.  The question is can they take it on the road to LSU on Saturday.  Only time will tell.
