Hogs Silence Dawgs

Athens, Ga. -
Ryan Mallett was calm, cool, and collected. There were 47 seconds left to play in the football game tied at 24. From his own 27 yard line he hit D.J. Williams on two consecutive plays to get the Razorbacks to the Georgia 40.
Mallett then called the same play as the previous two and the cornerback covering Greg Childs came down to help cover Williams and that is when the Arkansas QB hit Childs over Williams and Childs made the safety miss then ran into the end zone for the go ahead touchdown and silenced the Bulldog faithful.
Mallett finished the game throwing 33 times, connecting on 21, with zero interceptions for 380 yards and 3 touchdowns. Was it a Heisman worthy performance? It was definately a start.
The stakes are higher this week. #1 Alabama comes to Fayetteville to take on #10 Arkansas. With a win this Saturday the Arkansas football program can be relevant on the national stage.
Isn't it nice to have a Head Coach that likes the expectations and doesn't run from them? A coach that goes for the win and not play for Overtime? That is what Arkansas has now.
Win or lose this Saturday it is just one game. The Hogs can't win the SEC West this weekend, but they can sure be in the drivers seat.
