The Zone was live at Landers Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram today and we were joined by Christina Lecuyer.

On the show we talked to professional golfer and current Golf Channel analyst Notah Begay. Among the topics were of course Tiger Woods and he's liking the move from player to commentator.

Sun Belt Commissioner Karl Benson also joined us to talk about all the changes in the conference.  A few in a few out and among other things we found out that despite the fact that UALR is a non-football school, he considers them a key piece for the league as the SBC tries to get the focus back on men's basketaball.  He

also praised UALR AD and FOZ (friend of the Zone) Chris Peterson for his work in getting a bowl game with and SBC tie in Little Rock.

In our Zone Segment of the Day, we check out Nike's new Slogan for Tiger Woods "Winning takes care of everything"

and come up with some of our own with your help.  Part of the debate is whether it is sending the wrong message to kids.  It was correctly pointed out by a listener that if the folks behind the SWOOSH want people talking about them and Tiger, this is one way to get it done!

Wednesday Bill Vickery hosted which allowed me to participate in the Western Amateur press conference (and play a round which was amazing by the way) at The Alotian Club. In this segment we recap the event with Christina.

We have a quick Razorback Recap and discuss the Hogs win, it was close but it was a win. The Hogs will host Mississippi State this weekend in a Top-25 matchup which we will discuss on Friday (along with BJ Young's departure) with Robbie Neiswanger of the Arkansas News Bureau.

We also break down the NCAA tournament and look forward to the elite 8.

Friday we will be joined by the Pigskin preacher and we hope you can come by and see us at the track as we feed the man of the cloth full of that good corned beef from Hot Springs! Thanks for listening to THE ZONE from 10 to 1!
