Tuesday in The Zone we were anticipating our interview with Jose Canseco but we’re stood up at the last minute. We have been promised he will join us on Wednesday so finger’s crossed until then. The show still goes on without him and on Tuesday’s we have our Top Ten list and today’s was extra special. In this two part segment we hear the ten best broadcasting calls. In this segment we count down the first 5 calls including a win from Secretariat and an “Oh, wow!” shot by Tiger Woods.

In our second part of the Tuesday Top Ten we round out the list with the absolute best calls. Included are the famous “Down goes Frazier!” from Howard Cosell and the “Miracle” call by Al Michaels.

From Tropical Smoothie Café we are joined by Jason Alley. He reviews the Sandra Bulloch space flick Gravity. We also bring up the new Tom Hank’s movie Captain Phillips and we have some issues with the accuracy of the film. One of the hang ups Justin has comes from the small boats the pirates use to hijack such a large ship. Since he hasn’t seen it we won’t mention the pirates had Ak-47’s and Capt. Phillips boat only had water hoses.

In today’s Jim’s Razorback Pizza Report we discuss the upcoming loss against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. On the Sticky’z hotline we are joined by Sporting Life Arkansas’s Jim Harris who always make our Tuesday’s a little brighter even when it’s raining.

From the Museum of Discovery we are joined by Bruce Cross. He is on to tell us about their upcoming fundraising event called “Spark!”. For more info and to buy tickets check them out HERE.

Tomorrow is HUMP DAY and that means Wally Hall will join us for our Wednesday with Wally presented by Deltic Timber. We will effort again in getting Mr. Canseco on the show but will defiantly have on Amani Toomer, Barrett Sallee from Bleacher Report and Christina Lecuyer in studio. As always we thank you for listening to The Zone with Justin Acri weekdays from 10 to 1!
