It was a Spooky Thursday Halloween edition of The Zone today. We played spooky songs in and out of break today to get in the proper mood. Last night the Boston Red Sox won the World Series and we talk about the game and hear from a self censoring David Ortiz.

In studio to talk about the Meet the Trojans event was UALR men’s basketball Coach Steve Shields and women’s basketball Coach Joe Foley. To find out more about this event listen to the segment of just click HERE.

In from Sync Weekly was our main man Mr. Nate Olson. He was on with us to talk about a story he has been working on about Alandise Harris. He also makes it in to try a burger with peanut butter. We had talked about this a few weeks ago and tried them out on the show today along with Headband, Rj and our Intern.

In our Jim’s Razorback Pizza Report we talk about this Saturday’s game against Auburn. We also hear from Coach Bielema from his SEC Teleconference.

In our Zone Segment of the Day we hear about a lawsuit claiming the hit of the summer “Blurred Lines” is a rip off of a Marvin Gaye song. We compare the two songs and agree they are very similar, much like the Rob Van Winkle hit and the classic Queen song “Under Pressure”.

To make the day a little less scary, here is a picture one of our loyalist listeners William sent us of himself in his Halloween uniform.

Friday we will make our Blind Pig picks and talk to Terrell Davis. Robbie Neiswanger from the Arkansas News Bureaus will preview the Hog game with us and we will have our Jim’s Razorback Pizza Report, Zone Rewind and Matty T. minute. As always we thank you for listening to Justin Acri’s The Zone weekdays from 10 to 1!
