ONE HUMP OR TWO?

Wednesday in The Zone we had a full show of interviews and topics. We were cut short with this man last time but today we finally give him the time he deserves with us in The Zone. Joining us on the Stickyz hotline was retired NFL wide receiver Amani Toomer thanks to NBC sports.

In April, NLR star point guard Anton Beard announced that he had committed to Arkansas to play for the Razorbacks. He will be signing with the Hogs on Thursday and chose Arkansas over LSU, Tennessee and Umass. Anton joins us on the hotline to chat with us about his future.

On Wednesdays we are happy to be joined by Wally Hall thanks to Deltic Timber. In this segment we tap into his brain and extract the highly concentrated sports knowledge that only Wally can produce.

In our Jim’s Razorback Pizza Report we celebrate the Hog football bye week and talk some basketball. We also give away a pair of tickets with some fun Razorback trivia.

Joining us from Bleacher Report was Barrett Sallee. In this segment we chat with Barrett about many subjects, including his resemblance to Joe Peci’s character in Goodfellas.

In our Zone Segment of the Day we hear from the President at Michigan. She sure sounds drunk to us in the clip but the school hassimply blamed her slurred speech and drunken appearance to audio problems.

Another story about a student with a blood alcohol level three times the legal level made us wonder what the difference is between a DUI and DWI. We get a call from an attorney who explains this for us.

Also calling in was Kale Gober.

Thursday we will be live at Jim’s Razorback Pizza off of Highway 10. We will talk to Michael Schottey and from EPSN.com Edward Aschoff. As always, we thank you for listening to The Zone weekdays from 10 to 1!

Anton Beard announced his commitment to Arkansas in April and also does not play for Parkview anymore, plays for North Little Rock.
