HOMEWARD BOUND

12/11/2013 2:01 PM

Wednesday in The Zone we had an update to a story we talked about earlier in the week. It was announced today that Bryan Harsin is leaving Arkansas State University after just one season as head coach. He is headed back to Boise State where he previously was a player and offensive coordinator to be the head coach. We spend a good amount of time discussing and taking calls on this news today.

In today’s Jim’s Razorback Pizza Report we are joined in studio by former Hog Ernie Murray. We talk some Razorback basketball and upcoming games. During this segment we also get a call from Coach Weaver from Philander Smith College to talk about his team being ranked 14th in the NAIA poll.

In studio from Little Rock Tours was Gina Martin. She was on to talk about an affordable way for listeners to attend the Go Daddy Bowl where the Red Wolves will be playing. To find out more about this affordable and convenient way to make your way down to Mobile, Alabama for the game just check out the segment and visit www.littlerocktours.com and click on the tour calendar.

From Ava Bella Day Spa we are joined in studio by DeeDee. She tells us about their great packages available that are sure to bring luck to any guy who purchases one for their lady. We gave an Ava Bella gift card away and you can purchase one and print it right from home and avoid the holiday crowds by visiting them at www.AvaBellaDaySpa.com.

Our friend William stopped by in studio today. He works at The Arkansas School for the Blind and is just an all around good guy. In our Zone Segment of the Day we hear about a guy named “Bob” who drove over the speed limit and a story from Justin about one of the countless times he has been pulled over.

Thursday we will be live at Bank and Business Solutions in Mabelvale. We will talk with Chrissy from Youth Home about Christmas Karaoke, Edward Ashoff from Epsn.com and will be joined by rising superstar Matt Stell for the whole show. As always, we thank you for listening to The Zone from 10 to 1 with Justin Acri!
