JEFF LONG HANGING OUT IN THE ZONE, THE FANTASTIC PINE BLUFF FOUR BALL & A REPORTER FEELS THE WRATH OF BOBBY PETRINO

Arkansas AD Jeff Long was in the Little Rock area and he stopped by the studio for a chat. The big topic of the day was the decision to raise ticket prices for the Razorback football games. It's never easy to raise prices on anything, but especially when it's something that people in this state live and breathe. For a lot of people, the Hogs are their main form of entertainment and seems like evryone's taken a hit in the wallet over the last couple years. That includes the Razorback program. The fact still remains their needs to be continuous improvement to the facilities. That's always a main point of concern for any athletic program. The money has to come from somewhere and whether it's large donations or ticket sales there needs to be funds coming in.
There's no guarantee improved facilities will result in multiple national championships but it will result in aiding the development of the current athletes and helps in the recruitment of future ones.
Hello hello PINE BLUFF!!!! Justin and I are back at the Pine Bluff Four-Ball again this year thanks to Pine Bluff National Bank and all the kind characters at Pine Bluff Country Club. Once again I crashed a Trevino's luscious pad and the hospitality was better than a Ritz Carlton. Justin stayed at the Sizemore's home and drank all their coffee and ate piles of cinnamon buns.
Pine Bluff native Torii Hunter called us in The Zone on Friday and he was as entertaining as ever! He talked about making the move to right field, worst ballpark's to play in and the best place to get fried catfish in Pine Bluff.
Coach Petrino wasn't to happy when a reporter asked a question during Monday's press conference with a Florida Gators hat on. Renne Gork got the look, then wrath, then she got fired. Read about here.
