Back to Work after the Holiday Weekend

11/26/2012 6:32 PM

After the holiday weekend it was time to get back to work on Overtime.  Matt Jones and Trey Schaap had their fill of turkey and dressing and were ready to get back to business.

With Notre Dame defeating Southern California Saturday night it assured the Fighting Irish that they would be in the BCS Championship game.  We brought in Eric Hansen of the South Bend Tribune to discuss the Notre Dame season and get his thoughts on the Irish in Miami.

Who will Notre Dame play?  We know it will be the winner of the SEC Championship game this Saturday in Atlanta.  We had Dean Legge of Dawgpost Magazine who covers the Georgia Bulldogs and Chase Goodbread of the Tuscaloosa News who covers the Alabama Crimson Tide join us to discuss the matchup.

Andy Hodges of joined us as we looked back on the Arkansas - LSU game from Friday and the Arkansas Basketball team dropping two games on the road over the weekend in Las Vegas to Arizona State and Wisconsin.

Jeff Long has a big decision on his plate and there are rumors out there that Chris Petersen is high on his list of possible candidates to be the Head Coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks.  We had Brian Murphy of the Idaho Statesman on the Stoerner & Havas hotline to get his thoughts on if Petersen would be on the move anytime soon.

Tomorrow we will be joined by ESPN - BCS guru Brad Edwards and we will talk to Razorback QB Tyler Wilson.  Thanks for tuning in!
