A Wednesday on Overtime

11/28/2012 4:06 PM

Wednesday on Overtime we got clarification on the Les Miles talk that was reported in Arkansas first on Overtime.  Jim Kleinpeter of the New Orleans Times-Picayune joind us to discuss the story he wrote on the news yesterday the Arkansas offered their head coaching job to Les Miles.

Les Miles held a press conference today on campus and Derek Ponamsky of 104.5 ESPN in Baton Rouge was there and called Overtime as soon as he walked out of the press conference.

Andy Hodges of HogCountryOnline.com joined us and talked about the Arkansas coaching search and the Hogs basketball team as they get set to welcome Syracuse to Bud Walton Arena on Friday night.  Mike "Jocko" Jacques of KHBS 40/29 joined us as well to give us his take on what is happening on the hill.

Thursday we will start talking High School Championship football with Buck James of Camden Fairview and Dave King of Batesville as they will square off on Friday night at War Memorial Stadium in the 5A State Championship game.

If Jeff long has coach in bag, why would he have offers miles. Some portion of this scenario rings false.

We now have been told that Arknasas did offer the job to Gruden so why did Bo Mattingly make fun of everyone in Arkansas for saying that the Razorbacks would offer him the job. He acted like everyone was crazy for even suggesting that.
