Brett Battle was born in Perth Australia.  He has a BS Exercise Wellness and an MS in Exercise Physiology. In 1988, Brett moved to Oregon to coach men's basketball at Oregon State University.  In 1992, he moved to Monticello to coach men's basketball at UAM. Brett decided to take his life in a different direction and decided to move to Conway in 1998 to build and open The Plant Outlet.  He now has four locations along with a landscape company.  The business has grown from 3 employees to 35 employees and has been voted the best nursery and landscape company in Faulkner county the past four years in a row. His goal is to make gardening interesting and fun for everyone, by providing free advice and excellent service to anyone who needs it.
