Hair Today...Gone Tomorrow?
9/23/2011 2:58 PM
The Show With No Name had a full house today. Lets give the guest their proper respect and thanks for being a part of the show.
Tonight starts the 20th season of Dateline NBC. Earlier in the week, it was announced that Lester Holt would take over duties as the lead anchor on the the show. Guys like Lester Holt could be cocky and similar to the Ron Burgundy character. He has a sense of humor and doesn't take himself so serious. I'll watch tonight just to see if Chris Hanson has any new segments this season. BUSTED!!
Sticking with the NBC theme. Monday starts the 46th year of the only daytime soap opera the network has. Days of our Lives is one of those shows that I remember as a young girl growing up in the Chilean mines that mother would watch every day. Just like full service gas stations, not many are left. Galen Gering plays the handsome FBI agent Rafe Hernandez. The TV G-Man appeared with us this morning.
We had Rhonda Burton on with us talking about tomorrows Paranormal Expo at the MacArthur Museum. I know that RJ Hawk recorded the audio for me. Somehow it got erased and all I can hear is what appears to be a low whisper of "Bring Back Big Dave".
We did get our weekly picks in around 7:30 this morning. It's a tight race with Tommy in the lead. There could be a bigger gap or new leader based on the choices we gave today.
Well, it all goes down tomorrow. By this time Saturday we will know who gets what. Monday morning at 7:30 Melinda Mayo will be in the studio and shave the heads of the losers in the ARKANSAS/alabama hair match. Tommy and RJ say that the Crimson Tide will roll. David and I say that the Razorbacks will be the winners if we don't get cheated! Whatever the outcome of the game it will be a show to listen to Monday. Tommy and David have had this done before. RJ Hawk and I have not. Nor have we thought we ever would. We shall see what we shall see.
I will be watching the game at Boston's. If you're in the neighborhood come hang out.
