Fair Is Fair
10/21/2011 3:05 PM
The Show With No Name was LIVE at The Arkansas Stat Fair with Ralph Eubanks as our host. Ralph had many of the vendors bring in food this morning for us to sample. From the oldest examples being caramel apples and cotton candy, to the latest in fried pickles, gator, eggroll, and butter! That is just one vendor. All of them except the pickles on a stick. That butter was just what you think. When David put the fork to it the butter just flowed out of the cut. That may have been his favorite. He ate sticks of butter for a snack as a kid. No you read that correctly. David Bazzel ate sticks of butter like they were popsicles!
We were able to ride the thrill ride of the fair this morning. Last years scary ride is this years, the Nemesis 360. That thing is nuts! Shoot, just look at it and listen.
The host of Sports talk on The Buzz, Bo Mattingly, was driving to Mississippi to cover tomorrows game between the Hogs and the Rebel Black Bears. He was listening and wanted to call in and straighten out an old legend perpetrated by whom else, Tommy Smith.
We had former Razorback and current Drive Time Sports co-host, Marcus Elliot, as our celebrity guest picker.
Tomorrow we attend The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and host the after party at Bostons to watch the Hogs vs Ole Miss. Have a great weekend and be safe.
