Happy Veteran's Day! The Show With No Name was in Jacksonville today.  The J.M. of M.H. hosted us. Today the Museum is free for everyone. During regular days of the year the admission is cheaper than a gallon of gas.  We are always honored and humbled when we get the opportunity to speak with the men and women of the military and hope to gain more of an appreciation when we do.

Colonel Archie Frye commander of the new Air Force Reserve unit at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., started his Air Force career in 1977 but, has only been in Arkansas only 8 months. He likes it because it is also close to his wife. Mrs. Colonel Frye is Arkansas Air National Guard director of staff.

Do remember the Titan II disaster from the 80's? I was here but didn't appreciate the gravity of it at the time. I was about 16 and my biggest worry was pimples and gas money. In that order. After listening to Col. Jim Gray this morning I'm glad I didn't know what was going on. What a story he tells. I got you a link here to read more about it and ......wait for it....wait for it.....other accidents involving nuclear weapons in our own back yard! http://www.techbastard.com/missile/titan2/littlerockaccident.php

A friend of the show and senator of the state, Mark Pryor was sitting with us this morning as he does each year we broadcast from Jacksonville.

One week this football season we had the Senator Pryor as a Celebrity Game Picker. (that is the official name) This week the Celebrity Came Picker (see there it is again) is The Voice of The Arkansas Razorbacks, Chuck Barrett.

That's gonna do it and wrap up the week! Tomorrow join me at Bostons for the Hog game. We have a good time and everybody wins something during Halftime Trivia. (that's the official name) Legal tells me I have to say not everyone will win something because we may not have enough shirts, pens and what not and you may suck at Halftime Trivia. Listen it's tough stuff. You will earn that coozie or bottle opener. You'll appreciate it more that way too. Have a great weekend and call me when you get home, let it ring once so I know you made it.

Remember you don't have to buy a new car to be treated like you did. Fletcher Dodge has a wide selection of cars to fit every budget. Just for stopping by and talking with the Fletcher guys you get dinner for two at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.

Check out THIS WEEKS deals.  2009 Toyota Carolla Sport, 34 mpg, 45k miles, only $14888.

Or this 2011 Kia Forte 2 door Coupe, brilliant red, great gas mileage, just $16997
Check everywhere you want but, check with Fletcher Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Sherwood before you make your final decision. You will be glad you did.

Thanks for listening and making The Buzz 103.7 your #1 station. Join The Show With No Name from 6am-10am Mon-Fri with Tommy Smith, David Bazzel, RJ Hawk, and myself.
