Breakfast Is Served At......Browning's!

11/17/2011 4:23 PM

The Show With No Name was LIVE and on location today at Browning's Mexican Grill located where it's been since 1946, 5805 Kavanaugh Blvd. That's my story and I'm sticking to it anyway. Our gracious host's Val, Pablo (last names not important for the purpose of this story) and staff made sure we got the royal treatment for the inaugural serving of breakfast at the historic restaurant. Well, as I understand, Browning's did serve breakfast back in the day of the Truman and Eisenhower administration's but, it has been more than a few years. After this morning breakfast will be served only on the weekends. They have completely remolded the place and if you haven't been in a while you will reminisce a bit I'm sure. Then you will dig in for a great meal just like old times.

We played several games while on the road this morning and stuffed our faces at every turn but, we still had the task at hand an that was the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Callin' the Hogs.......Hispanically speaking!

Head Hog Jeff Long to a break from his bowl of Razorback oatmeal to call and invite us to the big shindigshig going on in Littler Rock both Friday and Saturday.

Kevin Kraus with the War Memorial Commission got a little hungry himself so, he stopped in Browning's and traded us some pom pons for a breakfast quesadilla.

Not a Thursday can be complete during college football season without talking to ESPN's Mark May. Other than next Thursday that is. You know since Mark started appearing on the show last year he has never bet against the Hogs? Yep. That's right. What a guy!

Tomorrow we finish the week at the newest location in the Edwards Food Giant chain, Bryant. Right down the road from my house as a matter of fact on Reynolds Road. Since my buddy pal Jame Ballentine is taking the equipment,  I can wait and leave home when Elvis starts singing and be in my seat before the King of Rock and roll ends our opening. That also leaves me a little more bathroom....er....uh....meditation time.

Come on out and and witness the Great Grocery Bagging Contest between David Bazzel and me!

Remember you don't have to buy a new car to be treated like you did. Fletcher Dodge has a wide selection of cars to fit every budget. Just for stopping by and talking with the Fletcher guys you get dinner for two at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.

Check out THIS WEEKS deals.  2009 Toyota Carolla Sport, 34 mpg, 45k miles, only $14888.
