The Show With No Name

Thursday Tingle

12/1/2011 5:02 PM

I have just returned home from a long winters nap. Quick, what was the bus drivers name in that story? The Show With No Name was ton of fun today. I will make this a quickie please and thank you. Samantha gave me a certificate for a massage last Christmas. She felt with me stressing, or as she put it, going nuttzie, without TV for nearly a week now was the time to use it. Glad I did. I'm still feeling the tingle. And I'm taller with the pulling that was involved.

Breezy and Yolanda brought up some Sonic and chatted with us about the particulars of the Lite Up The Nite Run in honor of Breezy's late father, Jennings Osborne.

David Bazzel is as close to the Osbornes as anyone and has helped where he could with the run. He of course is the current champion of Beat The Baz on The Show With No Name.

We played  more than Beat The Baz this morning. Lets see.......Battle of the Sexes......A new game Do You Hear What I Hear? You have to listen to the show each day because the question is from the previous days show....Oh yea and Mr. Food!

Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, if I may have your attention. The man to your left is B-Tine. The vehicle is his brand spanking new more room to haul my stuff so Pat Bradley doesn't leave my luggage on the side of the highway in Greenville, Texas Jeep!! James was one of at least 30 people who purchased a vehicle at Fletcher Dodge in Sherwood yesterday. A total that doubled the car lots goal. Don't believe me? Get Mark Miller on the phone. And get me somebody while I'm waiting!

For crying out loud! I almost forgot for a second time today.  Jimmy Hawkins was a guest on the show this morning via phone. Jimmy was Tommy Bailey in It's A Wonderful Life. You know the classic Christmas movie starring Jimmy Stewart. I didn't realize I had indeed gotten a confirmation for his appearance and neglected to tell RJ. Well it slipped my mind. So we had Jimmy on for an abbreviated time this mornings instead of the normal 10 minutes. You see when you deal with celebrities, the booking agent follows them around and will cut you off if your time is up. Whether your thru talking or not. Oh it happens more than you will know. It did today. Still a fun time with Jimmy.

Join us for Felon Friday and more tomorrow.

Remember you don't have to buy a new car to be treated like you did. Fletcher Dodge has a wide selection of cars to fit every budget. Just for stopping by and talking with the Fletcher guys you get dinner for two at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.
