The Show With No Name

Christmas Week

12/19/2011 10:18 AM

This is the week of Christmas so, The Show With No Name will start running on our snow routes pretty much the rest of 2011. I will be off Tuesday. Tommy will be gone on Wednesday. David will be in Florida on Thursday. We all are off on Friday and Monday. come back Tuesday and ......WOW! It's like the Munchkins. "We get up at 12 and start to work at 1. Take an hour for lunch and then at 2 we're done. Jolly good fun!

Harry King made his way to the studio this morning. He sorta frightened me today because he had on that Freddy Krueger shirt of his.  I'm not kidding! He scares the crap out of me sometimes.

When I was a little boy and the grass was green, Dr. Nancy Snyderman was a medical correspondent on KATV Ch. 7. Her looks and brains..... (there ya happy) had the networks coming after her and the next thing ya know, shes outta here and Red Duke moves in. Not the same for a kid starting puberty. It may not have been exactly like that. In my head movies that's the way it played out.

Tommy made a comment a couple of weeks ago about how it's cool when kids sing Christmas Carols. Anna Weaver heard that and mad me a proposition I couldn't refuse. She offered to have her 3rd grade class at Ward Central Elementary in the Cabot School District sing for us. Tommy was right as usual and it couldn't have been better. It was awesome!

Last but certainly not least. Saturday night was Christmas Karaoke for Youth Home. Jason Pederson did his usual outstanding act and took home the 1st place trophy. But, not so fast my friend. Signal Media had their very own trophy winner too.  Justin Acri and myself took 3rd place! Some say the act looked a little too natural.  I say that if two buddies can't lay it on the line for others then I don't want to live in that country. I also say it wasn't about us. It was for the kids. That didn't quite go the way you thought did it?

Remember you don't have to buy a new car to be treated like you did. Fletcher Dodge has a wide selection of cars to fit every budget. Just for stopping by and talking with the Fletcher guys you get dinner for two at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.
