Show With No Name

The Show With No Name ended the day, the week, the month, and the year all in one place, Fletcher Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Sherwood, Arkansas.  More specifically for me,Trunk Monkey, I was inside a new Durango Crew for the first half of the show. It was just as well though. Tommy started jumping into the guy that substituted for Bo Mattingly yesterday because of the comments he made about Little Rock versus Fayetteville Razorback football games.  It's been awhile since this debate has brought out that much emotion in Tommy  As it turns out Fletcher GM Mark Miller and David Bazzel each had something that they wanted to get passionate about too.  Mark seems to have found a cure for a neighbors barking dog.   David had a comment or two to make about an Arkansas State Trooper that pulled him over yesterday.

Frank Fletcher was making his way down to the dealership and called us to say so. Frank did indeed eventually appear in person on the show. Did we ask anything about what took him so long to get here? Of course not. Tommy, David, or myself would never treat someone so rudely. I mean the man has a multi million dollar corporation to oversee that includes, the purchasing and manufacturing of furniture and thoroughbred race horses as well as several dealerships around the country. And there is that little thing where he gives us demo cars to drive. So no we would never be rude..........or stupid.

We took quite a few calls as you would imagine about the stadium debate and Davids run in....er....uh....brush with Johnny Law. We heard from our old buddy Jamie Daley before Mark started doing what he brought us there to do, sell cars.

Did I tell you that I am in the lead as far as football prognosticating on the show? Well I just did. Big games this weekend for the teams that we on the morning show support with our mind, body, and soul. We were able to get this weeks picks in before we were treated with a treat in the form of KATV news anchorete, Christina Munoz.

We would have been remiss to not talk some about New Years Eve. David will be ringing in 2012 in style no doubt. Tommy and I will probably be bringing 2012 in our recliners. All that's left for us to decide is who will pass out first. Not pass out from drinking but, from just being old. Christina made it back to celebrate the great deal her and her husband got from Fletcher Dodge and have a piece of cold pizza before we said goodbye for the day, week, month, and year.

Thank you for listening everyday and making what we do possible. We couldn't do any of it without your support.

Here's a toast to the future, A toast to the past, And a toast to our friends, far and near. May the future be pleasant; The past a bright dream; May our friends remain faithful and dear.----Anonymous
