Show With No Name

That Just Happened!

1/3/2012 12:54 PM

The Show With No Name was keeping it real this morning.  That's the way the handsome David Bazzel phrased it. Well, it started with the story of the Wisconsin coach, Joe Rudolph, being caught on TV picking and eating nasal mucus. Please understand I just report the news. I do not condone what the coach did although I contend that at sometime in our life 9 out of 10 us had done the same thing. The difference is that we were toddlers that didn't know it was a disgusting thing to do and it wasn't on TV for the world to see. Now if your squeamish like me you can't watch this video. If the sight of a grown man acting like a dirt necklace wearing infant in the baby seat of a Wal-Mart in Any-town, USA, be my guest. Ladies and gentleman, Mr. and Mrs. Randolph's favorite son, Coach Joe Randolph.

Brett and Mechelle Battle, owners of The Plant Outlet, stopped by in between segments on KATV Ch. 7 morning show, Daybreak.

After that conversation I caught myself counting among my many blessings a phone call from Trey Schapp.  Trey is down in Big D as part of the advance team for The Buzz at the Cotton Bowl.  It's with a tear in my eye that I announce this is probably the last time with Bruce James for the football season. Yes that's right. Football is done in less than a week. No wait! Go ASU!!

It is with some more sadness that I say goodbye to Lindy Lanford.  Lindy will be leaving The Buzz in a couple of weeks to become a business owner! How 'bout that. Congratulations Lindy! She will truly be missed by the station and the folks at Signal Media.

Mark Henry is in town for an event happening at Verizon Arena tonight. It's the WWE and Mr. Henry is a former champion of his ....er.....uh.....sport. He was supposed to be in the studio but opted for TV instead of appearing with us early this morning. He did give us a call while heading to the buffet in his chauffeur driven Limo.

Remember you don't have to buy a new car to be treated like you did. Fletcher Dodge has a wide selection of cars to fit every budget. Just for stopping by and talking with the Fletcher guys you get dinner for two at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.

Check out THIS WEEKS deals. 2009 Toyota Carolla Sport, 34 mpg, 45k miles, only $14888.
