Hump It Up!!
1/18/2012 10:25 AM
The Show With No Name made it thru another Hump Day. I even got caught yawning during an interview with Make A Wish spokesperson Carrissa. You can't even hear it. At least I can't hear it anyway. Tommy did and of course the one and only David Bazzel caught me in the act. Of yawning that is.
Steve 'Wild Man' Wilson brought the Bird Ladies of Arkansas along with him this morning. Megan and Elizabeth are our resident Eagle watchers. They have info for you on the birds as well as all the wonderful things you can do around the state this year.
Today we marked a new era in Buzz Radio. the arrival of Matt Couch. I know you know that Matt has been here for over 4 years but, today he came in as the Interim Director of Promotions. The interim moniker is only a formality. It's his gig for the taking. I know, you know, and Tommy Smith said if it didn't happen he would be gone. Now I agree with you and Tommy that Matt should and will get the job but, that dang Tommy will stop at nothing to get that day off! We were not able to play Battle of the Sexes 'cause it was a little awkward. We did manage a couple of rounds of Match Game though.
Today is Anne Broadwater's birthday. My face book didn't even inform me. I guess I'm still her friend on that social network of the devil!
Tonight on NBC you can watch our guest Christopher McDonald. He appears as an attorney on the Kathy Bates series, Harry's Law. You may remember him as the champion golfer Shooter McGavin in the Happy Gilmore movie.
It was time for another prank call and this time the victim was GM of the Arkansas Travelers, Pete Laven. I couldn't shake Pete and he was a great sport about the whole thing. Although he does want to whip up on RJ Hawk for his role in the call. Thanks to Phil Elson I was able to get the right time to catch Pete in between meetings. Phil called in the show this morning to give us the skinny on the sale of Arkansas Razorback Baseball tickets for their annual game in N.L.R.
That's it for now. Tomorrow is Thursday and that's Beat the Baz day. we will do other things that may include what and what not to watch on TV as suggested by Rasslin' man. That ought ta be classic!
