The Show With No Name

Meatball Battle!

1/30/2012 10:25 AM

The Show With No Name was back in the studio today after spending Friday at the Big Buck Classic opening day ceremonies at Barton Coliseum. There are pictures floating around of me with a big yellow Boa on my head. I don't have them and won't look for them.

Happy Harry King was in today. It's amazing the strength he has knowing he won't be on this earth very much longer. What?! I mean none of us will but come on. I can tell he's just waiting for the phone call. Sure fire sign? Harry doesn't even comb the back of his hair anymore.

Al Watkins phoned in to let us know that Jimmy Lee finally made the trip to The Butcher Shop. As a side note if you haven't been you need to, too!  You see why now?

With this being Super Bowl week we got into all kinds of Super Bowl talk and trivia as you might guess. One of the the games we played was  Dead or Alive.....Super Bowl edition.

Speaking of the Super Bowl. And we were. Tommy asked first thing about a recipe for meatballs. It was a very funny discussion. Especially when I commented about most meatballs being made of sausage. Do I actually believe that or know that to be true? Of course I do not! I say things more often than not just so I can open my mouth and breath. It was kind of funny to me when David said sausage couldn't be meatballs 'cause he thought they were supposed to be made of meat! Oh I may be paraphrasing but, that's the way I heard it. Sorry I don't have the audio to back it up. Might have been the best part of the show.

The Show With No Name started a new segment this morning with Rasslin' Man. What and What Not to    Watch on TV. Will this segment last? I don't know. The guy has obviously got some sort of stronghold on Tommy Smith for him to keep coming by. For that matter Tommy got him a job at the station. He slobbers a ton! I didn't say who.

Tomorrow we close out the month at Fletcher Dodge in Sherwood. great deals on new and used cars for sure. if it were not so we wouldn't continue to have Frank Fletcher and GM Mark Miller ask us to come over.

Remember you don't have to buy a new car to be treated like you did. Fletcher Dodge has a wide selection of cars to fit every budget. Just for stopping by and talking with the Fletcher guys you get dinner for two at Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.

Check out THIS WEEKS deals. 2009 Toyota Carolla Sport, 34 mpg, 45k miles, only $14888.

Or this 2011 Kia Forte 2 door Coupe, brilliant red, great gas mileage, just $16997
