The Show With No Name

Let It Snow.......Or Not

2/13/2012 11:25 AM

Harry King and Old Man Winter made their way into the studio and state this morning. On The Show With No Name it's kinda hard to discern who is who sometime. The discussion with Harry centered around the Pebble Beech tourney where Phil Mickelson came from behind on the last day and out lasted Tiger Woods.  Talk of Mike Anderson's Razorback team also made its way over the airways. Harry is not sure if the team wins a game this week. On the road at Tennessee or at home with Florida. Tommy said this morning that this batch of Hogs plays like they are two completely different teams on the road and at home. Boy it sure seems like it. We had a chance, we thought last week, to steal that first road win. One or two on the team said they expected to win that game. It didn't turn out that way. We need it this week at Tennessee because, I believe, we may come as close as we've been all year to getting a home loss against Florida on Saturday. Agree or disagree? Always a hater in the bunch. GO HOGS!

The show was running on the alternate snow routes today. We covered the NBA if that tells ya anything. Busy week ahead and still Black History Month tributes to follow the next couple of weeks.

The death of Whitney Houston was of course a topic for us to cover. Some disagree with her and her status as an American icon. On one hand would it be as big if it happened 20 years from now? On another it was worthy of ESPN breaking in on their regularly scheduled programming to inform us of her passing. I have her beautiful rendition of The National Anthem. Also, the first song I saw on video of Whitney. No, this is the one. Man oh man she was hot! That's good as well. I'm out.

UALR was on ESPN 2 Saturday afternoon. Just giving more sports info.
