The Show With No Name

On The Road Again!

3/30/2012 2:26 PM

The Show With No Name was indeed On The Road Again. We were virtually in the same spot as yesterday. So close that the mail carrier in that area off of I-30 can walk to each mail box. We were again on the east bound side of the interstate between exit 123 and 126 at Geared-Up. Todd Adair celebrated his wedding anniversary by having Tommy, David, and myself at his new tractor and lawn mower business and giving away some big ticket items. A pressure washer and a self-propelled push mower. These items were valued at over $300.00 each.

For the mower we needed two contestants to battle each other in a Bazzel-less game of Beat the Baz. Robert and Tom stepped up. No disrespect but, it really wasn't even close. Robert was nervous and Tom didn't even know what were were doing. Tom did get on the board but, that wasn't enough as Robert scored four and loaded up his mower. I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, "See ya suckas!"

Michael was in it all alone. He needed that pressure washer. That's the item his wife sent him up to get. He had a tough task. Michael had to play three games to win. He had to match one of us in a game of Match Game. He must get two out of three correct in Beat the Baz against said David Bazzel. And, he had to correctly pick two out of three in a round of Dead or Alive. While the first two games were underway I had some discussions with myself. In Dead or Alive, do I make it easy for the player and risk getting called a dummy for just handing him the pressure washer? Or, do I make it tough on the contestant and risk being called a dummy for making him earn it? You see my dilemma don't you? Thanks. I opted for the latter. BOOOOOM! I make no apologies for my decision. Michael can hold his head high when his wife is telling him what to do thanks in small part to me. To Michael M. I say, you're welcome.

Monday we are back in the studio.
