The Show With No Name

6/6/2012 12:21 PM

The Show With No Name first and foremost wanted to pay our respect to our military and make you wre aware, just in case it slipped your mind, that it was on this date in 1944 the Allied Forces led by the greatest country in the history of the world, The United States of America stormed the beaches of Normandy in what is known as D-Day. America Baby! No doubt that The Artist Formerly Known as the Outlaw would play Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance first thing today.

We three all watched parts of the last night of the Queen Mothers 60 year reign celebration featuring some of Europe's most talented artist to include, Tom Jones, Sir Paul McCartney, and Sir Elton John. It was at this time that David Bazzel, who was looking like a million bucks in a suit this mornin' by the way, brought up the segment titled, The Ryder Cup of Rock and Roll. (sorry but it's the only way I can allow you to hear audio. that is if ya choose to listen)

'Wild Man' Steve Wilson just had to tell everyone about the FREE Fishin' going on this weekend in the state of Arkansas. (see above will ya)

Matt Couch strolled into the studio a little after the top of the hour of 7. Now I only mention that because he is scheduled to appear at 7. Matt and I have discussed that he wants to make sort of an entrance that sets him apart from other guests. It works. I don't always know whether he is coming or not. When he finally does make his way in the studio, my eyes get a little misty.

As a matter of fact I'm getting a little sad that todays show was over so quickly that I can't, no I won't go on.

Tomorrow we will have Beat the Baz and maybe Andrea will come in and play. Also, more talk about Magic Springs and the fun we had. RJ Hawk should also have the video of our frolicking' fun. He currently has the best part on our page and Facebook. it;s of him try to Boogie Board in the wade pool. he's so special and it's so funny.

Talk atcha tomorrow.
