Show With No Name

Funday Friday

7/13/2012 2:30 PM

The Show With No Name was ready for a Friday show. I know I was. It started off with The Artist Formerly Known as The Outlaw, Tommy Smith, telling of the dream he had where TV pioneer Ed Sullivan came by his home with Christmas gifts.  Tommy was asking for a dream analyst to define that for him. Be afraid! Be very afraid!

Tommy and David got the juices flowing with a spirited debate on whether John L. Smith could, would, or should be SEC  or national coach of the year if he leads our Razorbacks to an 11 or 12 win season? Whatcha think? Maybe ya want my opinion, maybe ya don't but, since I'm doin' the writing, I'm gonna give it.  If we win that many games and go to BCS Bowl or better yet win the whole shebang, we as Hog lovin' loonies won't give a rats patootie who they give that particular award to. On the other hand, I think the whole coaching staff should get the thing for not getting in it's own way and working together as one.

We did talk about several other topics but, the season is getting closer and we are gettin' a little antsy.

Thank you to Tori  from Down Home Catering for feeding us this morning. I bypassed the eggs, sausage, bacon and biscuits and chose a stack of pancakes instead. Just Awesome!

Just staying on the food talk for a minute longer. I was at the Butcher Shop after the show and served fries until 1:00 pm then had my steak burger. I am struggling to finish this with such a stuffed belly that I will not compromise the integrity or lack there of, of this here blog and just blog for the sake of blogging. That being said....................

Next week will be an even crazier week. We are in Wynn, Arkansas for a Tuesday show at Village Creek State Park. Then David and I are in Boston Thursday thru Sunday. WOW! I love this place!

Have a great weekend. Tell ya what. I haven't done as good a job as I had hoped I would with my fellow man this week. I will try harder starting next week. What? You're right. I will start right.................................NOW!
