The Show With No Name

Mid-Week Musings

7/18/2012 12:02 PM

I tried to give the best performance like always this morning on The Show With No Name but, I would be lying if I said at a time or two I didn't wander off in my head movies about my upcoming trip to Boston. You probably couldn't tell because I'm good, no very good, at the cover up. No it's true.

Steve 'Wild Man' Wilson was in and noticed that Tommy, David, and myself looked a little different to him. He commented that we looked older, rougher, and tougher. He was reminded that we have spent the last month living in the wild. Granted, we sleep in cabins on our Natural State Tour but, we did not have more than the basic satellite package to watch and if that ain't ruffin' it I don't know what is!

The man they call Matt 'Big Cat' Couch throughout the corridors of Signal Media was able to spend some quality time with us this morning. 'Big Cat' has been very busy putting the finishing touches on the American Cancer Society Live in for Life, which is the first week of August. Did I tell ya that he has less than 1% body fat?  Mattch Game had 2 rounds today. I think we had a winner. It was during this time that I was drifting off to Bean Town.

With 45 days left before the Razorbacks play their first game on the way to a national championship, it has been brought up that AD Jeff Long may have made a snap judgement in firing Bobby Petrino.  Former Coach Petrino was finally spotted. He was caddie for his daughter Katie in the Lexmark Kentucky Women’s Open in Nicholasville, KY. Katie is a redshirt sophomore golfer at the University of Louisville. Best of luck coach. Now quit fooling around and get your butt back up to Fayetteville!

Tomorrow Matt 'Big Baby Travis will bring his producing skills to the morning show while Hawk is away and for that matter Baz and myself too. David and I will be flying to Boston Thursday morning and hopefully be hooked up for Fridays show. Wish us luck.
