The Show With No Name

How You Doin'

7/30/2012 11:45 AM

There was alot going on this morning on The Show With No Name. The Artist Formerly Known as The Outlaw Tommy Smith, celebrates his 30th wedding anniversary today. He did the proper thing and left Karen a note and called her on the show professing his love. We have come to expect no less from him when it concerns all things Mrs. Smith.  Happy Anniversary Karen and Tommy!

Well Tommy was right about something else today too. It's the prediction that he made last fall about Michael Dyer never playing a down for The ASU Red Wolves. Dyer will not. It seems that the MVP of the National Championship game just 2 years ago has been dismissed from Arkansas State. Of course, we on the morning show are more sports aficionados than we are weapons rights experts. And you know how much we know about sports. So, we got in contact with my buddy, Joe Churchwell Joe is an attorney, musician, gun enthusiast, dog lover, and paly o'mine.

The question of the day concerning our beloved Razorbacks, had to do with new interim part time not very long head coach, John L. Smith. How many games do the Hogs have to win for John L. to be considered to be the long term head coach in Fayetteville? Perfectly fair question because, it appears Coach Smith is planning on being around next year despite having only a 10 month contract. The callers online and via phone were split. Win the all said half.......Can't win enough said the other half.

Since we were on the road last Thursday, we did not get a game of Beat the Baz. We took care of that today with a bonus round. Not a flake of rust on Baz this morning. the first song went to his opponent. Not much competition after that.

The former Governor of California celebrated his birthday in the studio with us.

Tomorrow we are on the road. Broadcasting LIVE from Fletcher Dodge in Sherwood. Harry King should be in the studio for us to chat with. I'ma thinking that's it.
