The Show With No Name

Is There A Doctor In The House?!

4/29/2013 1:36 PM

The Show With No Name had all if its working parts today but, half of the parts weren't all working to full capacity. The Artist Formerly Known As The Outlaw Tommy Smith, was working without any caffeine. David 'The Bionic Man' Bazzel was working without a left arm and NO MEDS!!! It appears that RJ Hawk and myself were the only half of the Fearsome Foursome that was working at full strength and that is scary when ya think about it. So don't think about it huh.

Harry King made an attempt to participate in the morning program but, alas, he had to be helped to and fro the studio. We all are living on borrowed time but, Harry is way overdrawn. Not wearing a shirt at his age and being on blood thinner just not a smart thing to do. Here he is saying that other than The Masters, The Kentucky Derby, which happens this week, is a favorite of his and about an 8 or 9 on the Harry King favorite sporting event list. When The Artist ask him for his pick in the race, I had to nudge Harry awake, and in his startled state, snapped back, "who cares"! You have to be very careful when you wake someone, anyone at that age especially, from a deep sleep. I was always told it could cause blindness and stuttering.

The NFL Draft ended over the weekend and it was in the final half of said such that we saw some Razorbacks and other in state players for that matter, taken. Knile Davis was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs and Tyler Wilson was tapped by the Oakland Raiders. Arkansas Red Wolves QB Ryan Aplin is gonna try out with the Cleveland Browns. The Former Outlaw doesn't think that you can pull for anyone other than your team. Well I say poppycock ta that! The more we have of in-state fellers chosen, the more opportunity there is for all Arkansans to have a little piece of heaven on the pro team of their choice. Now, not all Razorbacks can be so blessed as to be on The Dallas Cowboys team. That's OK and fine by me. I will still root and cheer for anyone from Arkansas whether they played in this state or not.

Tomorrow, we are LIVE and on location at Fletcher Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Sherwood, Arkansas for The End of the Month Sales Extravaganza that always happens during our visits. And, if that's not enough, we will have current head Hog and the most popular man in the state, undefeated Razorback coach, Bret Bielema on the phone with us.

Tommy, David, RJ, and myself thank ya for listening and making The Buzz and The Show With No Name your #1 station!
