The Show With No Name was all about what we all should be about this week. If I gotta tell ya then you probably are a terrorist. The Artist Formerly Known As The Outlaw, Tommy Smith, David Bazzel, and myself were off yesterday spending the 4th of July with our family and friends. I know The Artist was telling the story of Paul Revere's Ride as he does every Independence Day at the library. Reading it is one thing but, it's the 6 costume changes that he does that takes it over the top. And it's not so much because of the clothes or the wigs that he uses. He does the changing in front of everybody! My favorite part is where he, as Paul, in the nude, explains how he got that scar in that certain area. Baz was headed down to Mississippi and Florida celebrate the holiday in the South. When he comes back there is no telling what the story will be. No doubt that he is making someones life better with that award winning smile and charm. He may come back married though as well. I'm not sure if I heard he was going to hear BB King or buy her a ring! After I left the library, I headed to Bishop Park in Bryant. It was the 2013 BryantFest Extravaganza!
The Artist and I came back in today to serve you. RJ had to cover The Zone. Yea that's right. We were in because we thought that it would be one of the Code Red days for terrorist or bad guy type people to try some of their shenanigans and try and catch us sleeping. That, and the fact that we are not nearly as smart as we think we are and put in for some P.O. was a major factor in us getting to the station this morning! But, like he said, nobody was listening for the first two ta two and a half hours and we could and would say just about anything we wanted. Just to test the water that's all. We didn't get wet so, all is well. And, if you were not listening then you do not know what the phraz that payz will be Monday when we all return and be in the running for a prize valued at between 5 and 5 hundred bucks.
Nice to hear all of the patriotic music and Red Skelton Pledge of Allegiance bit too. There was the Gordon Sinclair, "The Americans" that was recorded 40 years ago that still rings true to this very day. Ya gotta hear it folks. If I was at a location that would allow me to put the link here I would have already done that and not written that I can't do that. You can find it on You Tube and play it. Just put in the search what I told ya earlier and you got it. A couple of montages that consisted of music and movies, respectively, got some air time and, Ninja, Kime, and Josh all stopped by and stuck around for awhile and had some fun with us.
I might as well get on outta here. I'm honored to be in the Independance Day Celebration Parade this Saturday in Quitman, Arkansas.....Popoulation.......762...SAAAAAAALUTE! It's gonna prove to me that small town America/Arkansas still pays it's respect to the greatest country on the face of the earth. On The Face Of The Earth PEOPLE!!! And I need to try on my Wal-Mart marked down on July 5th, July 4th shirt!
Have a safe weekend will ya. Talk atcha Monday. GOD willin'
Tommy, David, RJ, and myself thank ya for listening and making The Buzz and The Show With No Name your #1 station
