It's A Numbers Thing

The Show With No Name was back in the studio for the 1st time in what seemed like a month. That being said, we are gonna be out of the studio Wednesday too. I'm sure that the 4 day holiday, or was it 5, has played a part in it as well. It's just been a longer than usual 6, 7, or 8 weeks on the road. Now don't misunderstand me please and thank you. I wouldn't trade gigs with anyone. The only thing I would trade is the times that we take the call from one guy. That's it, just one guy. But even that's tolerable because, there is always the chance that I might get to hear what spontaneous combustion sounds like over the phone!
Nonetheless, we had a nice little program today. The Artist Formerly Known As The Outlaw Tommy Smith informed us, among other things, that the hamburger is the number junk food of all time. What! It's number one alright. But junkfood? Maybe it was junkfood back in the 50's but, it's a staple, or should be anyway, in every houslehold across the nation and and any of the territories that we happen to be clamimg at this time. I think there are 3 or 4. Hamburger.....junkfood?....Pa-lease!
Before we were able to delve into sports The Artist ask a question and then it snowballed from there into more questions but, from the rest of us. The first one was to RJ Hawk....'Who was Marconi?'......In the Hawks defense, he was busy doing a few other things when he heard the tail end of that question. It was a hilariuous moment when RJ repeated and said, Mark Coni, he played for the Texas Rangers or sang the song Walking in Memphis! David Bazzel was up next and asked if anyone knew what a Dover Sole was. Nobody did. But, he said it was good blackened. Then Tommy Outlaw asked for the best way to get rid of chiggers and a fella called in and suggested a cup of bleach in the bath water would suffice. That's when I piped in and said that would sting the piles. The Artist said he didn't have piles. Enter Baz with....."What are piles?" Oh please don't google that because your laptop will never be the same when the photos appear!
Everyone thought that the consensous is Tom Brady being the man in football. It came up during a convo about Jimmie Johnson being the man in NASCAR since he did it again at The Coca Cola 400 this past weekend. Tiger Woods is really still the man in golf. The Tom Brady answer, I think, is just a quick response cause there is no clear cut running back and no way can ya give it to a Flacco!! How sad Eli Manning never entered the mind of any of us. Except mine............just now!
Tommy, David, RJ, and myself thank ya for listening and making The Buzz and The Show With No Name your #1 station
