Show With No Name

Its Finally Friday

6/18/2010 2:06 PM

Not only is it Friday but, it's Friday before Fathers Day. On The Show With No Name any day that gives us show prep it is welcome. We had so much show we didn't get to all of it. Hey, on The Show With No Name we could use it Monday.

We first talked with Tommys dad. I have known Bill between 10 and 15 years. You can tell he holds a special place in The Outlaws heart. You see, he married Tommys mom who had , including Tommy, 6 kids. That does take a certain breed of fella. Happy Fathers Day Bill.

Next we talked with Davids pop. I have never met Harold Bazzel. I have spoken to him on the phone once and I sang some Dean Martin for him. I mean it wasn't a random thing. David knew about it. You can hear his pride for his boy in his voice. Happy Fathers Day Mr. Bazzel.

It took a little doing but we finally got in touch with Croffords Daddy. It seems Mr. Crofford was still asleep and then in the shower when DJC tried tracking him down. I was warned he was a man of few words. Can't say I ever heard Mr. Crofford before. He is a Veteran, so dealing with us was small potatoes. He handled us with care and that speaks volumes. Happy fathers Day Mr. Crofford, Sir.

My dad, James B. Scott, passed  away 10 years ago this month. The older I get the more I think about him. I wish he was around today.  He was also a Korean War Vet. He didn't talk much about that. We didn't do a great deal of activities together but, I do know he loved me and was proud of me. Isn't that all any of us want? I love you pop. Happy Fathers Day.

To all the dads The show With No Name wishes you a Happy Fathers day. Please tell your kids you love them and that you are proud of them. They need to know. And that's all I'll say about that.

Thanks for listening and making The Buzz 103.7 your #1 station. Join The Show With No Name from 6a-10a Mon-Fri with Tommy Smith, David Bazzel, Danny-Joe Crofford and myself.
