LATEST UPDATE ON MORNING SHOW HOST’S CONDITION

This morning, Tommy Smith, host of The Show With No Name on KABZ 103.7 The Buzz, had a medical emergency live on the air around 9:30 a.m.  911 was called and he was transported to an undisclosed hospital.

The management of Signal Media wants the listening public to know that he is resting comfortably and his condition is non-life threatening. 

“The family asks for your continued thoughts and prayers, and wishes to express their gratitude for your outpouring of support for Tommy. We have conveyed to the family the numerous phone calls and emails we have received,” said Steve Jonsson, Vice President of Signal Media and General Manager of the Buzz. “Signal Media is committed to whatever Tommy and his family need during this time.”

Tommy Smith, host of The Show With No Name on KABZ 103.7 The Buzz, had a medical emergency live on the air this morning around 9:30 a.m.  911 was called and he was transported to the nearest hospital. Management understands that his condition is stable. 

“Thoughts and prayers of all the staff at Signal Media are with Tommy and his family at this time,” said Steve Jonsson, Vice President of Signal Media.  “We are here to provide any support that they may need. And we ask the listeners to include the family in their thoughts and prayers as well.”

KABZ will communicate with the public his condition as information comes available.
