Snowpocalypse 2012

12/28/2012 1:47 PM

What a week it has been....

Snowpocalypse 2012 came on us Christmas night and we have all been digging out ever since.

Santa may have brought us some great gifts...

but Pedro Negro must have thought we were very naughty as he brought us one as well...and nobody asked for this.

Like many Arkansans I have been without power since Dec. 25, but fortunately had some family that was able to take me and my family in.

I am so proud to work with my pals here who trudged through the snow and got the message out to our listeners on road conditions and power outages.

Also want to thank the Pigskin Preacher for coming in and hanging out as we kept everyone up with what's going on and also taking a look back at 2012.  What a year it was.

Part of that year was recently attending a game at Verizon with listeners and clients...or as we call em...friends.  Hogs win, great crowd, good times.  Among those with us at the man Matt Couch.

He also came in this week to talk about what's happening including details for a great party at the Rev Room for New Year's Eve!  Click here for details...

Also started looking ahead at SEC Bowl games with SEC

 blogger Edward Aschoff.

On Friday we had Todd Traub in from Arkansas Business to try to explain what went wrong at the Arkansas Travelers that led to Pete Laven leaving the organization.  An odd move to say the least.

Thanks to all the listeners.  Hang in there-we hope your power (and mine) returns soon.  Talk to you Monday as we wrap up what has been a very interesting 2012.  I will be live in Memphis and Phil Elson and RJ will be holding it down from the Fureigh Electric Studio.  Hope to have you with us then.
