WRAPPING UP THE WEEK ON THE ROAD

3/1/2013 1:39 PM

The Zone was live at the all new Landers Chevy in Benton and we were joined by, none other than, the host of the wildly poular Sunday Digest program the incomparable Bill Vickery, Jr.

He was suprisingly pleasant today and we had a fun time hanging out.

Robbie Neiswanger of the Arkansas News Bureau called in today. Speaking with Robbie is much more exciting than making left turns all day. For the record Bill and Robbie both like the Hogs over Kentucky on Saturday in Fayetteville.

Also on Saturday

UALR hosts ASU at the Jack Stephens Center.  The women can lock up the Western Division Championship with a win and the men can lock up no worse than the #5 seed and 2nd place in the West with a win meaning they will not have to play on the first day of the tourney in Hot Springs which starts NEXT Friday the 8th.  Huge advantage getting a first round bye. Click here for a link to the men's bracket.

Jeff "Money" Taylor called in with his race picks.

Race 1) horse #1

Race 2) horse #6

Longshot Race 7) #2 ChasingtheGold

Feature 8th Race) #1 IndianAlley

In our Zone Segment of the Day, we took a call from one of the most polarizing fixtures that calls in to our show. A man who goes by the name Tiger Bait.

Coming up Monday we will be back in the Fureigh Electric Studios and will be joined by Chris Kane from KATV. We will have gameballs and jockstraps and will speak with Doug Brodess from BleacherReport.com.

Thanks for listening to THE ZONE from 10 to 1!
