We love some horse racing on The Zone, and the season may be over at Oaklawn but the fun hasn't stopped. The Kentucky Derby is coming up this weekend and on to talk with us was a real expert when it comes to racing, Dick Jerardi. Dick is a racing reporter and columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News. He has twenty-nine years of experince as a thoroughbred racing public handicapper and has covered every Triple Crown race since '87 and every Breeder's Cup since '86. There are several great stories stemming from this years Derby including jockey Kevin Krigger who is hoping to be the first black jockey to win since 1902. There is also the female jockey Rosie Napravnik who hopes to be the first female to win the Derby.

On the show today, straight outta Canada, was Professional Golfer Christina Lecuyer. We talked about the Jason Collins story yesterday and today we play the reaction from President Obama and also get Christina's opinion on whether or not she thinks Tiger Woods cheated. She let's us know what that is all a boot.

The NBA playoffs are in progress and we recap last night's wins by the Nuggets and Grizzlies. We also preview tonights games and discuss a Denver Nuggets fan who thought he was at a WWE show and Charles Barkley's hilarious comments on TNT.

On with us to talk about some great Riverfest hotel deals was Jeff McClure. Jeff also talked with us about the Little Rock Hat Club benefit and the National Baggo Championship. You can sign up for the tournament at and keep up with the Hat Club at their facebook page HERE

Barrett Sallee from Bleacher Report was on the Revolution Hotline to talk with us about the SEC including the possibility of a 9 game season. Also, we discuss the SEC's influence on the NFL as made clear by the most recent draft.

In our Zone Segment of the Day, we find out about the phone sex scandal that almost ended the career of The Gambler. We find out the 74 year old had set up a 1 800 number for females to call so Rogers could indulge in phone sex with them.

Coming up Thursday in The Zone we will be joined by Phil Elson and talk to Emily from The Ronald McDonald House about the Color Me Rad 5k run. Also, Justin Lewis tells us about a feature he has written on the horse WILL TAKE CHARGE that is running in the Kentucky Derby and our promo sorceror Matt Couch will be in to set us straight and as always will be presented by Mooyas Burgers Fries and Shakes. Thank you for listening to The Zone weekdays from 10 to 1!
