The Zone

Ken Duke won his first PGA tour this past weekend at the Travelers Championship. We talked yesterday about the 44 year old Duke’s 2 ½ foot birdie putt on the second play off hole Sunday to beat Chris Stroud. Today we talk to the man himself as Ken Duke joins us in The Zone to talk about his win.

Phil Elson was with us today and we talk about the previous nights College World Series game and the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup.

Phil is well known around Arkansas as the voice of the Travs and is a huge baseball fan. That's why Phil is just the guy to dive into MLB talk as we do in this segment.

On the phones we go to our good buddy Jim Harris from Sporting Life Arkansas. You can follow Jim on Twitter @JimHarris360.

Chris Kramolis was in today from Tropical Smoothie Café. Today in his “Average Guy” movie review he tells us about what he thought of World War Z starring Brad Pitt. You may remember a few weeks ago when we posted the audio of our interview with one of the movie’s producer’s Brad Simpson. Chris gives this movie a much better review than the one he gave for Man of Steel.

In our Zone Segment of the Day we do a top ten list of the biggest box office flops. As the author of this blog, Matt Travis, I have to admit that I got Carrey Elwes confused with Matthew Modine as the star of the biggest flop in movie history.

Coming up on happy hump day, we will be joined again by Phil Elson and talk to Jonathan Wasserman lead NBA draft writer for Bleacher Report. We will also recap the College World Series and much more. Thanks for listening to The Zone from 10 to 1 with Justin Acri!
