The Zone

8/26/2013 1:20 PM

The Zone was live today from the downtown Marriott for The Little Rock Touchdown Club brought to you by Epoch Health. Today former Dallas Cowboy and OBU Tigers defensive back Cliff Harris was honored. Cliff and his son Matt sat down with us before he made his way to the podium. Cliff overcame numerous obstacles in his football career to become one of the greatest defensive players in history and during the 70’s changed the way the position of free safety was played in the NFL.

Arkansas Governor Mike Beebee was there for today’s Touchdown Club. The Governor takes a few minutes to sit down and chat with us also.

From Saturday Down South we talk to Jon Cooper. It’s officially college football week and we talk to Jon about the best records at home in the last five years. We also talk about Bielema, get his expectations for Arkansas this year, the winners and losers on the 2014 schedule and where the best stadiums are.

To wrap up the show we talk some NFL. We discuss a plethora of lawsuits and who are the best and worst fans.

Tuesday we are live at Landers Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram in Benton. We will be joined by Chris Kane, have your Tuesday Top Ten, from Sporting Life Arkansas we will talk to Jim Harris and Tropical Smoothie Average Guy Movie Review. Thanks for listening to The Zone weekdays from 10 to 1 with Justin Acri!
