The Zone

THROW IT TO ME

11/20/2013 1:49 PM

Wednesday in The Zone we celebrated by having Wally Hall in thanks to Deltic Timber. We spent plenty of time debating the Heisman Trophy race today. In this segment we make our predictions about who will win.

In the Jim’s Razorback Pizza Report we successfully get excited about this Saturday’s game against Mississippi State. We gave away two tickets to the game with some Hog trivia and tickets to the Buzz Ultimate Tailgate Party.  In this segment we also discuss the possibility of Bud Walton Arena having a name changed to pay tribute to Nolan Richardson.

We talked some more about college football in this segment. Joining us on the Stickyz hotline was Michael Felder. He is the lead college football writer for Bleacher Report.

Thanksgiving is next week and we should be reminded of all of those around us who are in need. On with us to talk about a “give and get” event to help some folks around town was Mike Brown.

In today's entertainment report we talk about the new gaming systems. We argue about whether Playstation or Xbox is better. In this segment Justin goes on a rant about how much he hates the Xbox controller.

There is a new brewery in Little Rock called Stone’s Throw. On to tell us about what they have going on was one of the founders Ian Beard. You can check out more from them at StonesThrowBeer.com.

We ran out of time for our Top Ten list yesterday but we finally get to it today. In this Top Ten we find out about what downloaded songs hit number one over the past year.

Coming up Thursday we will hang out with Nate Olson from Sync Weekly and also Edward Aschoff from ESPN.com and much more. We thank you for listening to The Zone weekdays from 10 to 1 with Justin Acri.
