Today is national signing day when the future ballers and busts sign on the dotted line.  By all accounts, the in-state division one schools have a lot to crow about today.  It looks like the U of A addressed the needs that bore themselves out through the '08 season.  The three categories Bobby Petrino grades on include

1. Intangibles-Character, attitude and intlligence

2. Physical ability-Size, speed ability, competitive speed, burst

3. Football must-haves-Skill, instinct and intuition.

This looks like a Bobby Petrino class with a lot of defensive recruits coming in to help a class that needs it.

Also talked a lot of hoops on Wednesday.  Hogs and Vols tonight on the Buzz starting at 6:30.  We visited with Billy Gillespie this afternoon from the University of Kentucky.  He was the featured speaker today at the Downtown Tipoff Club at the Wyndham Riverfront.  Here's some of what he said in his interview on the Buzz.

Great event tonight at Cajun's.  A music fundraiser for the victims of the ice storm that still has tens of thousands of Arkansans without power in the northern part of the state.  Typhoid Mary and the Big John Miller Band among other are performing.  Drop off a $5 or more donation and take advantage of some great music and drink specials for a great cause.

Tomorrow on the show we have some great prizes you can win that can enhance your Valentine's Day plans and will visit with Clint Conque and Steve Roberts of UCA and ASU.  Pat is also efforting Coach Petrino to recap signing day.  Keep your fingers crossed.
