Razorbacks ranked 14th in USA Today coaches' preseason poll

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas football team is ranked 14th in the USA Today preseason coaches’ poll, it was announced Thursday.
The Razorbacks, who were ranked 19th in the initial coaches’ poll last year, return 45 lettermen and 15 starters from last season’s 10-3 campaign that resulted in the first BCS appearance in school history when UA met Ohio State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Arkansas was ranked 12th in the final coaches’ poll of 2010.
Arkansas returns its 2010 leader in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, all-purpose yards, scoring, touchdowns scored, punt return yards, field goals made, punting, tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, quarterback hurries, interceptions, fumble recoveries, forced fumbles, blocked field goals, blocked punts and safeties.
The Razorbacks also bring back players who accounted for 100 percent of their rushing yards, 84 percent of their receiving yards, 78 percent of their sacks, 76 percent of their tackles for loss and 64 percent of their interceptions in 2010.
Arkansas begins its 2011 season in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Sept. 3 when it hosts Missouri State. The game is set for a 6 p.m. kickoff and will be available on pay-per-view.
