Cardinal-White Baseball series times are set

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Dates and game times for the 2011 Cardinal-White series have been set, as announced on Thursday by Arkansas head coach Dave Van Horn. All games in the series are open to the public and admission is free.


The culmination of fall practices, the Cardinal-White series splits the Razorbacks into two teams who play a best four out of seven series for bragging rights in the clubhouse.


The series opens on Saturday, October 15, with first pitch set for Noon. Game two of the series will be played Sunday, October 16, at 1 p.m. After an off day, games three and four will be played Tuesday, October 18, and Wednesday, October 19. First pitch for both games is set for 2:30 p.m.


The final three games of the series are all “if necessary” games. Game five will take place Thursday, October 20, at 2:30 p.m. The series concludes with game six on Saturday, October 22, at 12 p.m. and game seven on Sunday, October 23, at 1 p.m.
