FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas football team’s episode of Depth Chart presented by Degree Men airs Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN as part of the network’s Year of the Quarterback initiative.
The series aims to offer a rarely seen glimpse into the lives of these elite student-athletes. Hour-long installments have chronicled the lives of quarterbacks, from freshman recruits to incumbent starters, beginning with the rigors of training and practice and continuing through the game. Depth Chart, which earlier this month featured Auburn, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin, culminates at Arkansas, with the Razorbacks’ episode exploring how each quarterback prepares for game week.
The show on the Razorbacks was filmed beginning with the team arriving home from its 42-38 defeat of 14th-ranked Texas A&M inside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Oct. 1 and continued through the 38-14 victory over No. 15 Auburn in Fayetteville on Oct. 8.
The show offers a behind-the-scenes look at detailed preparations of game week and features head coach Bobby Petrino, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Garrick McGee, starter Tyler Wilson and backup Brandon Mitchell as each prepares to take on the Auburn Tigers.
The show is set to re-air on ESPN2 Thursday at midnight and Sunday at 2 p.m. and on ESPNU Thursday at 5 a.m. and 8 a.m., Friday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 2 a.m.
