Arkansas Baseball selected to appear on ESPNU May 10, 2012

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ series opener against Auburn will be televised on ESPNU as part of the 2012 Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week package, as announced on Monday afternoon by the SEC and ESPN.
To accommodate television, the series with Auburn will now run from Thursday, May 10 to Saturday, May 12. Thursday night’s game will begin at 6:30 p.m., while the games on Friday and Saturday have a 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
The Thursday night SEC/ESPN package is scheduled to begin on March 22 with a rematch of last year’s national championship series between Florida and South Carolina. The schedule of games on ESPNU will feature all seven conference teams that advanced to the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
Arkansas was also selected to host a Thursday night game last season as the Razorbacks defeated No. 5 Florida 4-3. UA set a school record with 25 games televised during the 2011 season.
